i'm glad that nk wants to and is open to having talks with usa.

i do think that nk is playing brilliantly and i'm sure kim is listening to his advisors were as i wonder about trump(i sure hope he does).. i'm sure advisors on both sides have done their homework, so it should be very interesting how this turns out..

I guess we will see how good a negotiator Trump is,, as they match wits, and make their moves. So far I think Kim has got the upper hand because, he knows Trump's weaknesses or at least his advisors do. Trump's "Art of the Deal" should give his opponent a clear advantage.

a newly published article by british sociologist david voas argues jehovah's witnesses may be about to experience a collapse in numbers.

contrary to claims by american sociologist rodney stark who predicts strong future growth for jehovah's witnesses, voas shows that jehovah's witnesses' efforts at recruiting new members have become increasingly unsuccessful over the past few decades: the rate of increase has steadily declined, and the number of hours each publisher must preach to produce an extra convert has gone up substantially.

voas suggests a reason for the stagnation may be that there is a natural limit to the number of people in a given population that are susceptible to conversion to sectarian groups like jehovah's witnesses - the 'carrying capacity' of the population, and that the limit has largely been reached.

for example, practices of ousting or shunning members who have dissenting views, a blanket refusal to participate in politics and government as well as not celebrating christmas or birthdays are all things that the special will reportedly cover.

i know a lot of people might not want anything to do with any religion and i can sympathize, the bible an ancient collection of books compiled by the catholic church authorities and the some what restricted version by protestant movement we have the less voluminous of collected "holy" books call the king james.

which i think we have a lot to learn from them if we look at them from a more psychological point of view and not force them to be literally understood.. i think it is the same with these sutras, what is it telling us about the mind?

what can we expect from certain meditative practices.

I wouldn't want to do a type of meditation that could be harmful or scary. That poor guy...it must have been terrifying for him.

Surprisingly I think it was therapeutic for him. The place was rented at Palo Alto, Ca. and this guy flew in from Michigan and picked me out to be his sitter, as he said latter he knew he would need some help so he asked me to be his sitter. He told me beforehand that he was a baby delivered by forceps , which didn't really dawn on me what type of reaction he would have, and so the somebody after him with daggers while in a cave was a reliving of such trauma, and by reliving it one gets to put the experience in a better place in the brain/mind and the less it fucks up the rest of your life,,he was clearly charged with emotional pain that needs come out and get reprocessed, ending the suffering the final goal, it is all in the mind

I personally am glad that it is going to be shown now, and I dare say that it has got to catastropic for JW ratings amoung worldlings and JW s alike to be sure. I sure hope she touches on the most sensitive topics.

No publicity is good publicity for this dubious fraud who plays on human weakness and call it memebrs by the term Jehovah's Witnesses.
